Should stores sell violent video games to minors?

Video games in the industry are mainly focused on the children. They enjoy nice games like Mario, or Sonic, but the industry has also had very adult oriented games. Mortal Kombat, GTA, Call Of Duty, VALVe games, but all in all, a lot of people seem not to care WHO plays it. Adults play Mario still, and the amount of children in CoD is BAFFLING. Now, a big problem with this is the latter. Children aren't meant to see such violent and inappropriate content. Mortal Kombat's gore, GTA's voilence and sex, CoD's gunplay, TF2's war; this wasn't made for kids. Now, should they be banned from being sold for minors? In my opinion... no. It's up to the parents that decided wether or not the child is mature enough to see this stuff. I've played all the games listed here, and I'm no more violent than I was at 14, or 13, or 12, or 11! I think it's harmless, it's all about who plays it. If the kid has anger issues and a short temper, and tends to act out, NO. If they are a behaved kid who just wants to play something more adult, sure, why not. This is Kyle, logging off.
