Do I spend too much time on "stupid" video games?

The term "stupid video games" have been around since games were first conceived. People tend to think non-electronic medias like reading or music is better for society, but in actuality, games tend to help people with reflexes, steadiness, and creativity. I believe games to be the the LEAST stupid form of media. When a the main character dies in a movie or book, you aren't that impacted. When the main character (the character YOU control) dies, it's all your fault. You know you had a say in what happened. When this happens, you wish to succeed more and more. You don't want to lose, so you adapt. You take in everything about that level or stage, you beat it! Games are the only interactive media, and that can help in a lot of ways. Platformers help Hand-Eye Coordination, Puzzle games work the mind, and even FPS's or games with quicktime events can help with reflexes. Simple things like this can help someone a lot in the future. I know when I first got into gaming on the N64 and NGC, my hands weren't that steady. Ever since I got the Wii, my hand barely EVER shakes when holding something. Games can be "stupid" in many senses. Shovelware, Cash-Ins, Series that are milked, but many games can help in several ways. But hey, that's just my opinion. This is Kyle, logging off.
